HYEDU becomes one of the few authorised operators of an official MUET examination centre outside Malaysia, removing a key barrier for Chinese students applying to Malaysian universities.

Bringing MUET to Chinese students

HYEDU Education Group has established an official MUET (Malaysian University English Test) examination centre in Foshan, Guangdong — making it one of the very few authorised centres operating outside of Malaysia.

What is MUET?

MUET is the mandatory English proficiency test required for entry into Malaysian public universities. Previously, Chinese students had to travel to Malaysia solely to sit the examination — a significant logistical and financial burden.

What this means for students and institutions

  • Chinese students can now register and sit MUET locally in Foshan

  • Removes travel costs and logistical barriers for applicants

  • Increases the pipeline of qualified, English-proficient students for Malaysian universities

  • Supported by structured MUET preparation classes covering all four components

Authorised by MPM

The centre operates under full authorisation from the Malaysian Examinations Council (MPM), ensuring examinations are conducted to the same standard as centres in Malaysia.
