A delegation from Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) visited HYEDU Education Group's Foshan office, culminating in the appointment of HYEDU as UIS's strategic partner for international student recruitment, student mobility, and China university engagement.

Strategic Partnership between Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) with Hyedu Education Group
HYEDU Education Group welcomed a delegation from Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) to its office in Foshan, Guangdong — a visit that marked the beginning of a formal and far-reaching institutional partnership.
UIS, a Malaysian public university with a strong academic standing, made the trip to Foshan with a clear mandate: to expand its international footprint and establish a trusted ground-level partner capable of advancing its ambitions in China.
Three Pillars of Partnership
Following discussions held at HYEDU's Foshan office, UIS formally appointed HYEDU Education Group as its strategic partner across three key areas.
The first is international student recruitment. HYEDU will leverage its established networks across Guangdong and beyond to identify and channel prospective Chinese students toward UIS programmes. Of particular focus is the Muslim Chinese community — a student demographic that UIS, as an Islamic university, is uniquely positioned to serve. Through HYEDU's ground presence in China, UIS aims to extend its reach to Muslim students seeking an institution that aligns with both their academic ambitions and their values.
The second is student mobility. HYEDU will facilitate structured student exchange and mobility programmes between UIS and institutions within its China university network, creating academic pathways that benefit students on both sides.
The third is China university engagement. UIS recognised HYEDU's position as a well-connected intermediary between Malaysian and Chinese higher education institutions. HYEDU will actively identify and broker collaboration opportunities between UIS and Chinese universities, from joint programmes to research linkages and institutional exchanges.
Why HYEDU. Why Foshan.
UIS's decision to visit HYEDU's Foshan office reflects the growing recognition of Guangdong as a strategic entry point into China's higher education ecosystem. With a registered entity and a dedicated team operating from Foshan, HYEDU is uniquely placed to represent Malaysian universities on the ground in China.
The appointment by UIS adds significant institutional weight to HYEDU's university partnership portfolio and reinforces its role not merely as a recruitment agent, but as a strategic connector between Malaysian and Chinese academic institutions.
A Partnership Built for Scale
This collaboration is not a transactional arrangement. It is a long-term institutional alignment between a Malaysian university seeking to grow its global presence and an education group with the networks, expertise, and regional positioning to make that growth happen.
HYEDU looks forward to delivering measurable outcomes for UIS across all three areas of this partnership, and to deepening the academic ties that connect Malaysia and China through credible, institution-led collaboration.
